What is Acne?

Excess oil produced on the skin produces bacteria, closing the pores, causing “Acne”. Therefore, oily skin has more acne problems than dry or combination skin and it mostly develops on areas of skin that have more oil glands, such as, face, chest, back and shoulders.

Can it come at any age?

Acne can be caused by endless reasons, genetic, food, stress, menstrual cycle, anxiety, hormonal fluctuations e.t.c. Therefore, can come on any given day, time or age. As an adult, our hormone levels are always fluctuating, causing breakouts that can range from mild, severe to extremely painful.
Life would have been better if we had received prior information about acne in some way. However, the truth is, there is no way to anticipate these problems. And, when it happens suddenly, especially on the day before an important function, meeting or party, our first reaction is always … Oh my God! Oh No!😔 What do I do now? 😰🤔

“Homemade Face Mask” made of simple Ingredients. Let’s begin-

Ingredients & Their Benefits

GRAM FLOUR or Chickpea flour
fights acne as it contains zinc. It not only removes excess oil from the skin which is the main cause of acne, but also dead skin from the body.

has anti-inflammatory properties which helps to calm the skin. It is also an excellent antioxidant.

is naturally antibacterial, making it a great ingredient for acne treatment. It is full of antioxidants, obviously, great anti aging product. It not only moisturizes but also soothe the skin.

is rich in vitamin C, helps brightening your skin. It also helps in reducing dark spots occur due to breakdown of pimples.

Steps to  Prepare Face Mask 

– First, mix the dry ingredients together.

– In a bowl, take about 1 1/2 tablespoon gram flour. Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix them well.

– Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon water. Mix them all well and make a fine paste.

– It should not be thick or watery. The consistency should be of toothpaste which is perfect for applying on the face.

– Before applying, do an allergy test. Apply a small amount inside your wrist or elbow. If all is well, you can proceed.

– On a clean face, apply the mask, leave it for 5 minutes or until it dries. 

– Gently rub the face with your fingers. Then wash it with lukewarm water.

This combination of uses will help your face clear up from acne breakouts. Do this twice a week, regularly, you will see a lot of improvement in your skin.

Acne is not new to me! I have had problems with it in the past and this pack, has always come to the rescue💓🖤💓

     Few suggestions🌈

Apply mask at night for maximum results, as the skin recovers the most when you are asleep.

Avoid using regular skin care routine, like toner, moisturizer, serum e.t.c. for couple of days or until improvement. Give your face, a break! Let the skin breathe!

Do not throw away the leftovers, rub it on your hands like soap and wash it off. Hands will be soft, instantly. Doing this regularly, will also improve skin tone.

Prepare the pack for the entire body, take a bath with it. It not only softens the skin, but also brightens it, when used regularly. Also, it removes dead skin from the body.

Avoid touching your face, as dirt, oil and bacteria are formed on our fingers which can cause more skin problems.

If you have a dry skin and moisturizer is must, use only spray type, such as “JOWAE HYDRATING WATER MIST”. It contains antioxidants, moisturizes the skin evenly without making it greasy or oily and is easily absorbed into the skin. Also, easy to carry in a hand bag.

Yes, sweating is beneficial for your skin, it flushes out dirt and toxins from the body. As a result, you not only get that beautiful baby glow, but also a natural blush on your face.

Last but the best, get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep at night. If possible, take a short nap in the afternoon. This little nap works great not only for your skin but for your whole body.
